Alessandro Del Piero (Italian pronunciation: [alesˈsandro del ˈpjɛːro]) Ufficiale OMRI[2][3] (born 9 November 1974 in Conegliano, Veneto) is an Italian World Cup-winning footballer who plays for Serie A club Juventus, of which he is also club captain. Del Piero was named in the FIFA 100, a list of the 125 greatest living footballers selected by Pelé as a part of FIFA's centenary celebrations. Del Piero was also voted in the list of best European players for the past 50 years in the UEFA Golden Jubilee Poll. In the year 2000, Del Piero was the world's best-paid football player from salary, bonuses and advertising revenue.

Along with three awards in Italy for gentlemanly conduct he has also won the Golden Foot award, which pertains to personality and playing ability.

On 14 March 2010, Alessandro recorded his 300th and 301st career goal during a 3–3 draw with Siena with the first two goals at the second and seventh minute. On 30 October 2010, Alessandro recorded his 179th Serie A goal, breaking the record of club legend Giampiero Boniperti as Juventus' top scorer in Serie A and further cementing his status as the most prolific goalscorer in Juventus history.

On 5 February 2011, with his substitution against Cagliari, Alessandro Del Piero became the most capped Juventus player, edging out former Juventus legend Giampiero Boniperti. Del Piero remains the third most capped player in the Serie A behind Javier Zanetti and Francesco Totti respectively.

On 5 May 2011, he signed a new 1-year contract in the Juventus Arena. His previous deal was due to expire on 30 June 2011.

On 24 May 2011, Del Piero and Juventus played against Manchester United at Old Trafford in a friendly match being former England defender Gary Neville's testimonial match. Del Piero was substituted after 65 minutes to a standing ovation from the Manchester United supporters.

Juventus confirmed on 18 October 2011 that season 2011–12 would be Del Piero's last with the club.

On 26 May 2009, Diego signed a five-year contract to join Juventus at the end of the season. The fee paid to Bremen by Juventus was worth €24.5 million. The price can rise by a further €2.5 million in case of the fulfillment of established sports objectives in the next five years.

Amauri Carvalho de Oliveira (born 3 June 1980), better known as Amauri, is a Brazilian-born Italian footballer who plays as a striker for Serie A club Juventus.

On May 30, 2008 Amauri completed a €22.8 million move to the Italian giants, Juve.

On 30 June 2010, due to irregularities of his transfer to Juventus and Palermo and third-party ownership, Amauri was fined along with his agents and numbers of staffs of Juventus, Palermo and Chievo. It involved the irregularity of agents Stanislao Grimaldi and his son Mariano (representing both Amauri and Chievo at the same time, thus conflicts of interests), verbal agreement of Amauri with Palermo to waive some bonus of the 2007–08 season as part of the transfer; requesting Chievo to pay the agent 8% of the future transfer fee and requesting Palermo to pay €2 million in the transfer to Juventus.

The 2010-11 season started well for Amauri as he scored a brace in the UEFA Europa League qualifying rounds against Shamrock Rovers. After that, he was benched for most games under new manager Luigi Delneri.

On 31 January 2011, Amauri joined Parma on loan until 30 June 2011. He enjoyed an excellent few months at the club, scoring 7 times in 11 games and playing a big role in his temporary owners securing their place in Serie A for another year, as he formed an attacking tandem with former Juve teammate Sebastian Giovinco.

Amauri returned to Juventus after his loan deal expired. Despite much talk that he was to be "offloaded", no concrete deal was ever made. However, Juventus write-down the residual value of Amauri's contract (which last until 30 June 2012) backdated to 2010–11 financial year, which worth €5.348 million on 30 June 2011 (~ ¼ of €22.8million).
