Wesley Sneijder (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈʋɛsli ˈsnɛidər] born 9 June 1984) is a Dutch footballer playing as an attacking midfielder for Internazionale. He was named UEFA midfielder of the season as well as one of the three best midfielders in the world for 2010 by FIFA.

On 21 August 2010, Inter started the 2010–11 season by winning the 2010 Italian Super Cup with a 3–1 win against Roma. On 26 August 2010, Sneijder was named by UEFA as the best club midfielder of the Champions League 2009–10 season. The day after in Monaco, Inter lost to Atlético Madrid in the 2010 UEFA Super Cup. He scored his first goal of the season in a 2–2 draw against FC Twente in the Champions League on 14 September 2010, and followed that up with another goal in Inter's second game against Werder Bremen in a 4–0 win at the San Siro on 29 September 2010. On 26 October 2010, Sneijder was shortlisted for the 2010 FIFA Ballon d'Or award, which Lionel Messi won.

On 28 October 2010, Sneijder signed a five year contract extension with Inter, tying him to the club until 2015. Inter finished second in Group A of the Champions League and were drawn against FC Bayern Munich (whom they had beaten in the previous year's Final), in the Round of 16. In the first leg, Sneijder and Inter were uninspired and lost 1–0 to a late Mario Gomez goal at the San Siro. On 15 March 2011, Sneijder helped Inter turn it around scoring in the 63rd minute leading to a 3–2 win (3–3 on aggregate, Inter were through on away goals) at the Allianz Arena, booking a place in the quarter-final against FC Schalke 04. The first leg of that quarter-final ended 5–2 to Schalke. Sneijder also played in the second leg of the tie but could not prevent his team from losing 2–1 and 7–3 on aggregate.

Samuel Eto'o Fils (French pronunciation: [samɥɛl eto fis]) (born 10 March 1981) is a Cameroonian professional footballer.

On 22 May 2010, Eto'o played in the third Champions League final of his career, and with Internazionale's triumph over Bayern Munich, he became the only player to win the treble in consecutive seasons.

On 21 August 2010, Eto'o scored twice as Internazionale beat Roma 3–1 to win the Italian SuperCup. His first hat trick for Internazionale occurred in the UEFA Champions League against the German team Werder Bremen on 29 September 2010 Internazionale won the game 4–0, with Eto'o saying, "We will remain humble because we know that there are sides out there that are better than us, so we will just take it one match at a time and we will go as far as it takes us".

Continuing his outstanding form in Serie A and in the Champions League for the 2010–11 campaign, he was pivotal to Internazionale's attack line. On 16 March 2011, Eto'o gave a legendary performance in Munich as he helped Internazionale eliminate Bayern Munich 3–2 (with an aggregate score of 3–3, winning on away goals) in the Champions League. Eto'o scored the first goal after four minutes into play, as well as provided two clinical assists to Wesley Sneijder and to Goran Pandev for the winner. After the game, Inter President Massimo Moratti said, "I'm not sure if the deal that brought Eto'o to the club was my best piece of transfer business ever, but I really think it was a great piece of business for us. Eto'o is fantastic. I do not want to take anything away from Ibrahimovic, but for everyone it was really a great deal to get Eto'o. Samuel is truly extraordinary." On 29 May, Eto'o scored two goals in the final of the Italian Cup against Palermo to help Internazionale win 3–1 and taking his total season goals to 37, a new record high for him.

Dejan Stanković (Serbian Cyrillic: Дејан Станковић, Serbian pronunciation: [dɛ̂jan stǎːŋkɔʋitɕ], born 11 September 1978) is a Serbian association football player who plays for the Italian Serie A side Inter. He captained the Serbian national football team until 2011, when he announced his retirement from international football. He is an attacking midfielder who can also play out wide on the wings or track back in a defensive midfield role. "Deki", as he is nicknamed, is best known for his effective, accurate passing, versatility and creativity as well as his ability to score goals from long distance.

On 13 June 2010, Stanković became the first player to represent in FIFA World Cups, a national team with 3 different names: FR Yugoslavia, Serbia and Montenegro and Serbia.

Playing under new head coach Rafa Benítez, Stanković continued his usual midfield role. On the 28 November 2010, Stanković netted a hat-trick in an emphatic 5–2 victory over Parma at the San Siro.

At the FIFA Club World Cup in Abu Dhabi in mid December, Stanković played an excellent semifinal versus Seongnam, scoring the opening goal and turning in an all around midfield performance. However, despite this, Benítez decided to bench the midfielder for the final versus TP Mazembe, only bringing him on for Christian Chivu in the 54th minute. Soon Benítez got sacked despite winning the trophy, and couple of weeks later Stanković expressed his dismay at Spaniard's decision to leave him on the bench for the final. On the same occasion, despite publicly backing the beleguerd coach months earlier, Stanković stated that Benítez simply "didn't work" at Inter. He says that strong personalities crashed to each others,Internazionale players after winning Champions League and strong personality of Rafael Benitez so at the end as a result was departure of Rafa after 6 months at the bench.

Under newly arrived head coach Leonardo Araújo, Stanković continued to be the automatic midfield choice, displaying his versatility (at times filling in for injured Wesley Sneijder in the midfield organizational role). Stanković scored his first goal under new coach at home versus Bologna in mid-January, and then continued with the same form away at Udinese, scoring the opening goal followed by hitting the post in a match that Inter lost 3–1. In Coppa Italia quarterfinal at Napoli on 26 January, Stanković injured his thigh muscle that initially ruled him out for a month. However, he came back ahead of schedule for a Serie A match at Fiorentina on 16 February, putting in a lively performance with surging runs and two good scoring opportunities as Inter won 2–1 to come within five points of league leaders AC Milan. Inter made good recovery chasing the league-leaders AC Milan, getting within three points of them ahead of Milan derby, but lost disasterosly 0–3.

Stanković scored a spectacular volley from the halfway line vs Schalke in the Champions League quarterfinal first leg on 5 April 2011 as keeper Manuel Neuer ran out of the box to make a daring header clearance that made it up to the halfway line leaving an open goal as a target for Stanković's firm first time volley. Inter would go on to lose that match 2–5 at home. On 19 April, in the Coppa Italia semifinal first leg, Stankovic scored the winning goal with another spectacular long-range effort, hitting a sweet outside foot volley past the despairing dive of the goalkeeper.
